Why this project?
Thinking about the situation of the world we decided that it would be great to create a simple platform that gives every user the possibility to post a positive mark on the world map.
Our goal is to cover the world with millions of smiiles until the end of December 2008. There is no commercial reason behind the “smiile-project”, it’s just a fun tool that uses the potential of the internet to activate users worldwide.
Why should I give a smiile?
Show that you believe in the power of good mood and that you share our idea to cover the world with as much smiiles as possible.
How could I help?
Post a smiile every day. The more the better. Send the justsmiile website to all your friends and make them a part of the project. In short: just post or to leave the URL www.justsmiile.com where ever you like.
Who is the team behind the justsmiile-project?
We’re a small team of happy people believing in the power of good mood. Although we are based in Vienna, Austria, we are curious to see how many users from all over the world take part in our “smiile-project”.

How does it work?
1. Open the platform in a browser of your choice
2. The IP-adress of your internet provider helps us to simplify the geotagging process
3. Click on the smiiley and your mark is set.
That’s it! Very Easy!
What’s the function of the timeline?
You can see how many people in the world decided to click on the smiiley – and the number is growing – every day – until 31.12.2008.
Come back on another day and have a look how the world map of smiiles has changed.
What happens in 2009?
We don’t know yet – let’s try to collect as many smiiles as possible.
